Chelsea winger Pedro Neto has been named in Portugal's squad for this summer's World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The 26-year-old has been a consistent and reliable presence in the Blues' attack this term. Neto has made 50 appearances in all competitions and has scored ten goals, including a first senior hat-trick in our FA Cup victory over Hull City.
Neto has made 23 appearances for his country and featured at the 2024 European Championship and at the 2025 Nation League Finals, during which Portugal overcame Spain to be crowned champions.
This will be Neto's first World Cup – and he is joined in the Portugal squad by Cristiano Ronaldo, who is set to appear at a record-breaking sixth after being selected by Roberto Martinez.
There are also two former Blues in the Portugal squad, with defender Renato Veiga and Joao Felix also earning call-ups. One goalkeeper will be omitted before the final deadline to ensure compliance with the 26-man limit.
