Chelsea supporters have voted Lauren James' superb goal away at Arsenal as our best from the 2025/26 season!

After overcoming an early-season injury sustained while helping England retain the European Championship, James produced several impressive displays during the 2025/26 campaign and scored a number of eye-catching goals.

The 24-year-old was voted by supporters as our women's team Player of the Season for her efforts, becoming the fourth player after Fran Kirby, Sam Kerr and Erin Cuthbert to claim the award twice.

And now LJ can add another personal award to her mantelpiece with this campaign's Goal of the Season prize.

The goal came in the first leg of our UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final tie against Arsenal. With the Blues behind, James collected a half-cleared corner, shifted the ball onto her supposedly weaker left foot and whipped a shot from 25 yards into the top corner. It was a stunning strike.

In the supporters' vote, James earned a third of the tally, with Sam Kerr's final goal for the club, a volley against Manchester United, finishing as the runner-up. Ellie Carpenter's impressive solo strike against Barcelona rounded off the top three.

Well deserved and congrats, LJ!
