Chelsea supporters have voted Johanna Rytting Kaneryd's stunning volley against Tottenham as our Women's Goal of the Season for 2024/25.
Fans around the world have had the opportunity to vote for their favourite Blues strike from the season just gone, selecting our standout women’s goal via the poll on the Chelsea Official App and website.
Twelve strikes from our women's senior side were shortlisted, and it was Rytting Kaneryd's volley that came out on top of the voting to take this year's crown.
The Sweden international's goal came in the 70th minute of our 5-2 win over Spurs, and she completed her brace in stoppage time with another superb effort to seal the rout at Kingsmeadow.
Skipper Millie Bright spotted Rytting Kaneryd in space on the right-hand flank and lofted a cross high into the winger's path. While many would've attempted to bring the ball down, the Sweden star fired in a first-time volley in mid-air, giving her marker and the goalkeeper no chance of stopping her effort.
Her strike picked up 28.3 per cent of the total vote. Maika Hamano's long-range effort against Twente in the Women's Champions League group stage came in second with 18.6 per cent of the votes.
Securing third place with an 11.3 per cent share was Mayra Ramirez, with her goal scored on the break against Manchester City in November.
Congratulations, Jojo!
