The international window is soon upon us and a number of Blues are set to represent their respective nations. Here is who will be in action...

Sonia Bompastor's side are guaranteed to go into the international break sitting atop the Women's Super League and we could extend our advantage at the summit when we play our game in hand against Manchester United this weekend.

A number of our Blues will be looking to replicate their fine form when they go off and compete for their countries, with some set to be in European Championship qualifying play-off action, while others will be contesting friendlies.

Blues aiming for Euros

Those in qualifying action are two games away from a place at next year's major tournament in Switzerland, with this international window seeing the second round of play-off matches take place.

Scotland will have Erin Cuthbert in their ranks as they look to secure a place at a third major tournament. Our midfielder has been named in the squad ahead of their two-legged clash against Finland at home on 29 November and away on 3 December.

Guro Reiten has been included in Norway's squad for their play-off matches against Northern Ireland. They play away on 29 November and at home in Oslo on 3 December.

Three of our players - Zecira Musovic, Nathalie Bjorn and Johanna Rytting Kaneryd - have been called up to the Sweden squad for their round two play-off matches against Serbia on 28 November and 3 December.

Friendlies

Colombia take on Argentina in a home friendly and Mayra Ramirez could be set to feature after she was called up to her national team.

Blues defender Ashley Lawrence is set to represent Canada when they play two friendlies in Spain against Iceland and South Korea on 29 November and 3 December, respectively.

Sandy Baltimore and Oriane Jean-Francois have been named in France's 30-player squad for their home friendlies against Nigeria on 30 November and reigning world champions Spain on 3 December.

A Chelsea quartet - Hannah Hampton, Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, and Aggie Beever-Jones - have been called up to the England squad for their friendly matches against the United States at Wembley on 30 November and Switzerland on 3 December at Bramall Lane.

For Bright, Hampton and Beever-Jones, they could reunite with former Chelsea manager Emma Hayes who will lead her USA team in her home country for the first time since taking the reins earlier this year.

Sjoeke Nusken has been named in the Germany squad for their friendlies away to Switzerland on 29 November and at home to Italy on 2 December.

There will be Chelsea representation when the Netherlands take on China and the USA at home, with midfielder Wieke Kaptein and defender Veerle Buurman - who is spending the season on loan at PSV - both called up. These matches will take place on 29 November and December 3, respectively.

On the international youth stage

Defender Maelys Mpome has been called up to the France U-23s squad for their friendly matches against the Netherlands and Spain, while, Julia Bartel is set to represent Spain in the same age group.

Brooke Aspin - who is currently on loan at Crystal Palace - has been called for England's U-23s matches against Norway and Sweden, while goalkeeper Katie Cox and midfielder Lexi Potter - who is on loan at Palace - are set to represent the U-19s in European qualifying games against Turkey and Italy.
