Chelsea Women will play Aston Villa at home in the quarter-finals of the Continental Tyres League Cup.

The draw for the last eight took place this afternoon and was announced on Talk Sport 2.

Emma Hayes’ side have reached the quarter-finals after topping Group D which contained Reading, West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur, Lewes and Crystal Palace.

The game will be played at Kingsmeadow on either Wednesday 15 or Thursday 16 January.

The other quarter-final ties are:

Arsenal v ReadingSheffield United v Manchester CityManchester United v Brighton and Hove Albion

The Continental Tyres Cup remains the only domestic trophy the Blues are yet to win. Last season we went out at the semi-final stage to Manchester City Women.

Celebrate the New Year by coming to Chelsea’s next home game which takes place on Sunday 5 January (kick-off 12.30). The Blues return to the Women’s Super League against Reading and with our title hopes, we aim to hit the ground running for the second half of the campaign.

Tickets for the match are £9 for adults and £1 for juniors (under-20) and seniors (over 65).
