Following a historic season when Chelsea FC Women won the domestic treble, we are pleased to announce our ticketing proposition for next season that will see more games played at Stamford Bridge and the introduction of a new youth concession.
We have worked closely with our dedicated Women’s Team Fans’ Forum and the Fan Advisory Board (FAB) to ensure our ticketing policies meet the needs of our loyal fans as well as ensuring we support the continued growth of the women’s team.
Following these discussions, we will hold a minimum of four Women’s Super League (WSL) home games and all UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) home games at Stamford Bridge next season, equally the highest number of matches held at Stamford Bridge in one season.
We will be introducing a new package called The Bridge Pass to provide access to the four WSL home matches alongside the Kingsmeadow season ticket, which will cover the remaining WSL home games. Both The Bridge Pass and the Kingsmeadow season ticket provide a 20 per cent discount for fans, compared with buying the equivalent on a match-by-match basis.
To ensure continued financial sustainability and growth of the club, match-by-match prices at Stamford Bridge will increase by 10 per cent. This equates to an increase of £1.50 and £2.50 on adult ticket prices per match. A £1 booking fee will also be introduced for each single general admission match ticket at Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow, across all competitions.
Individual match tickets will remain at the 2024/25 prices and the Kingsmeadow season ticket will also remain at the same price on a pro-rata basis.
The early-bird window at Stamford Bridge will continue so that in the first week of sale, all match-by-match tickets will be discounted by 10 per cent at the point of purchase. This provides the opportunity to purchase tickets at the 2024/25 general sale price in that week. In addition, season ticket holders and members will also benefit from a £1-per-ticket discount on Kingsmeadow tickets in the first week of sale.
We have also reviewed our concessions policy together with the FAB and are grateful for their feedback and recommendations. Last season almost a third of all match-by-match tickets purchased were junior concessions. We want to ensure that the passion we have seen from our younger supporters is encouraged. We are therefore introducing a new youth concession, with a 25 per cent discount applied for those aged between 16-22 for match-by-match tickets, season tickets and The Bridge Pass. Our young, loyal fans are the lifeblood of this club and we want to ensure they have greater access to Chelsea Women games and the club.
To facilitate this, the senior concession qualifying age will rise to 66, in line with the state pension age and the concession will be reduced to 25 per cent.
We understand the impact price increases can have and so we have taken the decision to extend our payment plan offer for Kingsmeadow season tickets from eight months to ten to support those who need it. For the first time, this option will also be available for The Bridge Pass, allowing supporters to spread the cost of tickets over a longer period of time.
The club is making final preparations for the renewal window for Kingsmeadow season tickets, which will open on Monday 16 June. The Bridge Pass will also be available for season ticket holders to purchase on Monday 16 June and will go on general sale on Wednesday 18 June.
A CFC spokesperson said: ‘We have enjoyed great collaboration and feedback with both the Fan Advisory Board and the dedicated Women’s Team Fans’ Forum on our ticketing proposition for next season. Our priority is to ensure that as a club we are doing everything we can to encourage the passion of our incredible fanbase, grow our club and welcome many more to the Chelsea family.’
Tracy Brown and Neil Beard, co-chairs of the Fan Advisory Board, said: ‘Over several months we have engaged with the club on Chelsea Women’s ticketing proposition for next year, providing feedback and insight to ensure the fans needs are reflected. We are aligned with the club in their ambition to ensure the continued growth of the club.
‘We’re particularly pleased to see the introduction of the new youth concession for 16- to 22-year-olds, which directly addresses our goal of growing the fanbase and making matches more accessible to younger supporters. The extended payment plans and early-bird discounts also provide valuable support for fans.
‘While we had advocated for a complete price freeze at Kingsmeadow to maximise accessibility and encourage new supporters to experience the fantastic atmosphere at our home ground, we recognise the club’s commitment to keeping Kingsmeadow season tickets at the same pro-rata price. We’ll continue our collaborative work with the club to ensure Chelsea Women’s matches remain welcoming and accessible to all supporters.’
