Chelsea have already come up against West Ham twice this term and on both occasions the Blues were victorious. We hosted them mid-September in the Continental Tyres League Cup and second-half goals from Bethany England and Guro Reiten gave us a winning start to the competition.

Then at the end of October Emma Hayes’ side produced a quickfire comeback against the Hammers when we came back from being a goal down. Sophie Ingle netted the equaliser and minutes later Ji So-Yun blasted a long-range effort which was worthy of winning any game. Drew Spence added another in stoppage time to put the final flourish on a fantastic team performance.

Before February, the Blues will be in action at Kingsmeadow against Bristol City in the league and Aston Villa in the quarter-finals of the Continental Tyres League Cup. Fixture details can be found here.
