The Blues go into the match having won back-to-back games against Real Sociedad in our Women's Champions League qualifying third round tie, by an aggregate score of 6-2.

Chelsea have won all 12 of our Women’s Super League meetings with Aston Villa. Despite losing 4-3, Aston Villa scored more goals in their most recent WSL game against Chelsea, in March, than in their prior 11 league meetings with the Blues (two goals).
That was also the first game in Women’s Super League history in which both teams scored three first-half goals. In the away meeting last season, Chelsea won 3-1 with goals from Aggie Beever-Jones, Keira Walsh and Sam Kerr.
