Chelsea have a 100 per cent record in European football this season after winning both legs of our Champions League qualifying play-off against Real Sociedad. Since then, we recovered well from being held to a draw by Aston Villa on the opening day of the Women's Super League by recording back-to-back wins over Manchester United and Birmingham City.

Austria Vienna are making their debut in this stage of the competition after coming through three qualifying rounds already this season. They began with victories over Hajduk Split and Farul Constanta in one-off ties, before fighting back from a 2-1 first leg defeat to Brann to win 5-2 on aggregate in the last round.

Recent head-to-head

This is the first time Chelsea Women and Austria Vienna have met each other, and the latter's first-ever fixture against an English team full stop.
