Chelsea Women celebrated several excellent strikes in January, but there was a clear winner in our January Constant Contact Goal of the Month vote!

Sonia Bompastor's side played four games across three competitions last month, but it was a goal from our first match after the winter break that Blues supporters voted as their favourite.

It came in our 5-0 victory over West Ham United in the Women's Super League and was scored by France international Sandy Baltimore.

Expertly bringing down an attempted cross-field pass, Baltimore advanced into the West Ham penalty area, moved the ball onto her left foot, and drilled an unstoppable shot into the top corner.

Baltimore's strike was the clear winner of our vote – held exclusively on the Chelsea Official App – and Sam Kerr's first goal in our Women's FA Cup victory over Crystal Palace finished second with 17 per cent.

Three different goals shared third: Mille Bright's close-range header against Crystal Palace, Kerr's second goal in the same game, and Wieke Kaptein's winner in our League Cup semi-final triumph over Manchester City.

You can rewatch the winning goal above.

Congratulations, Sandy!
