After scoring two goals against Crystal Palace and a standout performance against Man City, it will come as no surprise to hear that Sandy Baltimore has been voted Chelsea Women's January Player of the Month by supporters.
The France international scored with a sublime curling effort just before half-time against West Ham United, and followed that up when she converted a penalty in the 70th minute of our 5-0 win at Kingsmeadow.
When we faced a tough test against Manchester City in the Women's League Cup semi-final, Baltimore took her chance to shine, providing a pinpoint cross for Wieke Kaptein's goal in the 1-0 win and at the other end, she prevented an almost certain goal for Khadija Shaw with a perfectly-timed tackle on the edge of the box.
Baltimore picked up 33 per cent of the total votes, with Sam Kerr coming in second with 25 per cent and Alyssa Thompson taking third place with 17 per cent.
Congratulations, Sandy!
