After she scored in each of our opening four Women's Super League matches, it is little surprise Aggie Beever-Jones has been voted Chelsea Women's September Player of the Month by supporters.
The England international struck our opening goal of the campaign, breaking the deadlock in our WSL opener against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. It was a strike that helped Sonia Bompastor's side secure an important 2-1 victory over a fellow title hopeful.
Beever-Jones followed that goal by scoring away to Aston Villa – a close-range header from a deflected Ellie Carpenter cross – and she then struck the winner as the Blues had to battle hard at Kingsmeadow to overcome a stubborn Leicester City side.
The best was still to come, though. Away to West Ham United, our Academy graduate scored a stunning free-kick to set the Blues on our way to a comprehensive victory. Such was the quality of Beever-Jones' strike, it was voted September's Goal of the Month.
She has now added the Player of the Month award to her list of honours – and it reflects the impact the 22-year-old has made to our early-season form.
Beever-Jones earned 59 per cent of the vote, with ever-reliable midfielder Erin Cuthbert in second with 15 per cent.
Blues goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, who received the first-ever Women's Yashin Trophy in September, was third with 12 per cent of the vote.
Congratulations, Aggie!
