The Chelsea FC Women’s squad for the first World Sevens tournament to be held in London later this month has been confirmed.
The Blues will compete in the event alongside Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City, London City Lionesses, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May. Should Chelsea reach the semi-final of the tournament, that will be held on Saturday 30 May.
The event, which will take place at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium, aims to be high-energy and dynamic, with the stars of the Women's Super League showcasing their talent and non-stop entertainment, including a live DJ, to accompany the action.
This will also be the last chance for Blues supporters to see our players in action before they head off for the summer.
And we can now reveal the Chelsea squad of 19 players for the tournament:

Defenders: Sandy Baltimore, Kadeisha Buchanan,Veerle Buurman, Ellie Carpenter, Niamh Charles, Chloe Sarwie
Midfielders: Erin Cuthbert, Wieke Kaptein Sjoeke Nusken, Lexi Potter, Keira Walsh
