Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard are the finalists in our search to find the best Chelsea goal ever scored in the FA Cup ahead of our return to action in the competition this weekend. Who wins? You decide!

In a pair of heavyweight semi-final clashes, the duo fended off opposition from Gianfranco Zola and Roberto Di Matteo to progress to the decisive vote, which will again be settled by Chelsea supporters around the world.

Drogba's thunderous finish against Tottenham in the 2012 semi-final earned 60 per cent of the vote to beat off competition from Zola's volleyed flick a decade earlier.

The other winner was Lampard, for his spectacular free-kick in the same Wembley game in 2012. He edged past Di Matteo's 1997 cup final special with 52 of the vote - the narrowest margin of victory in our FA Cup poll so far!

Now it is time for you have your final say: will it be Didier or Frank? Watch the goals back once more and then head to the Chelsea Official App to cast your vote! We will reveal our winner later this week...

Vote for your best FA Cup goal winner!

The Final

Didier Drogba vs Frank Lampard

Didier Drogba vs Tottenham - 2011/12 semi-final

In truth, Tottenham had had the better of the first half at Wembley as the interval approached. So it made our opening goal even sweeter. Lampard lobbed the ball in Drogba's direction and the striker held off William Gallas before lashing a stunning finish past another former Chelsea team-mate in Carlo Cudicini, with the Blues going on to win 5-1.

Frank Lampard vs Tottenham - 2011/12 semi-final

Our fourth goal of a wonderful afternoon in north-west London came from the right boot of Lampard. He lined up a long-range free-kick and connected beautifully, with the ball dipping and swerving out of Cudicini's reach and prompting a mass exodus in the Tottenham end.
