Moises Caicedo's outstanding strike against Liverpool has been voted as Chelsea’s Goal of the Month for October!
The Blues midfielder only scores screamers, and after winning September’s Goal of the Month for his effort against Brentford, Moises now has another under his belt.
This time, it’s for his emphatic strike from the edge of the area against Liverpool that ensured we started October with a high-profile victory.
Receiving the ball and driving towards goal, Moises unleashed an arrowed strike from 20 yards into the top left corner before wheeling away to celebrate with those in the Shed End, as we went on to beat the Reds 2-1 at the Bridge.
Having received praise from his head coach and team-mates alike, Caicedo has now received another award voted for by supporters, racking up 51 per cent of the tally on the Chelsea Official App.
Jamie Gittens’ incredible volley against Wolves finished runner-up with 34 per cent of the tally, while Estevao Willian’s last-minute winner versus Liverpool earned the final podium position with 10 per cent.
Congratulations once again, Moi!
