Moises Caicedo's impressive strike against Brentford has been named as Chelsea’s Goal of the Month for September!

It was another outstanding month for Caicedo, who also claimed our Player of the Month award for September, and it all started with a stunning strike against Brentford shortly after the international break.

After Cole Palmer had brought the Blues level against the Bees, we were pushing for the lead and Moises delivered spectacularly from distance at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The ball rolled out to to the midfielder on the edge of the box and the 23-year-old struck incredibly sweetly into the corner, with the effort rocketing past the outstretched Brentford goalkeeper and into the net, sending the Chelsea fans in the away end wild.

Moises has now scooped both of our awards for the past month, racking up 57 per cent of the Goal of the Month vote from supporters on the Chelsea Official App.

Palmer's sublime first-time finish versus Bayern Munich finished second with 22 per cent of the tally, while Tyrique George's goal against Lincoln City earned a podium position with 16 per cent.

Congratulations, Moi!
