With a stunning goal in her final game for the club, it will come as no surprise to hear who Chelsea fans voted as their Star of the Match against Man United.

Sam Kerr bid farewell to the Blues fans who love her so much on Saturday afternoon at Stamford Bridge, following the news she would be leaving the club after six-and-a-half memorable years.

The 32-year-old's place as a Chelsea legend was already cemented well before this weekend's 1-0 win over Manchester United, the opposition where some of her greatest moments in Blue had been secured.

And the Australia star added to her legacy even further at the Bridge when she scored a superb volley from Lauren James' cross to make it 116 goals in 158 games, meaning she moved level with Fran Kirby as the women's team's all-time record goalscorer.

So it was no surprise that 72 per cent of users on the Chelsea Official App voted for Kerr to be our Star of the Match against Man United, with Veerle Buurman (6 per cent), Erin Cuthbert (6 per cent) and James (16 per cent) completing the nominees shortlist.
