Chelsea have landed safely in the Spanish capital and 24 players have been confirmed to be among the travelling party.

Our top scorer in the Champions League this season, Raheem Sterling, returned to the side at Wolves last time out and is among the travelling contingent.

His compatriot Mason Mount also boarded the plane despite not playing in any of our last seven matches. Thiago Silva has missed the same amount of games as Mount due to a knee ligament injury, but has trained at Cobham this week and he is among those to have travelled.

N'Golo Kante, yet to feature in this season's Champions League competition, was among the travelling contingent.

Full-back Ben Chilwell, who has today agreed a two-year contract extension with Chelsea, is also involved, alongside fellow defender and his captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
