The search for Chelsea’s Ultimate Goal of the Season moves on to Group C, with another five memorable strikes competing for your votes!
Groups A and B have already brought together the first 10 winners in our 20-goal contest and now it is the turn of Michael Essien, Ramires and Eden Hazard, all for the second time in this competition, as well as Olivier Giroud and Conor Gallagher.
This group stretches from 2009 to 2023 and includes goals scored on some huge occasions, from UEFA Champions League knockout nights to dramatic Premier League encounters.
There is plenty of quality to choose from, too. A stunning volley off the crossbar, a mazy individual run, an overhead kick and a last-minute winner all feature in Group C.
The two goals which receive the most votes will advance to the quarter-finals, as we continue to narrow down our 20 Goal of the Season winners along the road to finding the ultimate winner.
You can watch all five Group C contenders below, relive each special moment and choose your favourite by voting on the Chelsea Official App, so make sure you have your say on which strikes deserve to progress.
Michael Essien vs Barcelona - 2009
On a huge Champions League night at Stamford Bridge, Essien met a looping ball outside the penalty area with a magnificent left-footed volley, which crashed in off the underside of the crossbar to give us the lead against Barcelona.
Ramires vs Manchester City - 2011
Ramires showcased the full extent of his skill and dribbling ability against Man City, weaving his way between defenders just outside the penalty area before bearing down on goal and firing beyond Joe Hart to round off a 2-0 victory at the Bridge.
Eden Hazard vs Arsenal - 2017
One of Hazard’s most memorable moments in Chelsea blue. Picking up possession inside his own half, Eden powered away from the Arsenal midfield, shrugged off Francis Coquelin and continued into the box before calmly beating Petr Cech to complete a sensational solo goal.
Olivier Giroud vs Atletico Madrid - 2021
Giroud produced a spectacular moment in our Champions League last-16 first leg against Atletico, adjusting brilliantly from 12 yards to send an overhead kick beyond Jan Oblak and secure a valuable victory on our way to lifting the Champions League trophy for the second time.
Conor Gallagher vs Crystal Palace - 2023
Against the club where he had spent the previous season on loan, Gallagher marked his first Chelsea goal in style. First he nutmegged Jean-Philippe Mateta, before curling a brilliant effort into the top corner from outside the box in the 90th minute, to seal a 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park.
