Before this weekend’s Premier League game, a fan-led event will be taking place in the Tea Bar – with a nostalgic look back at past kits being the focus.

Those Were the Days… are heritage events organised by the Chelsea Heritage Partnership and on this occasion, they giving it the one-off name - Those Were the Shirts…

Taking place this Sunday between 2pm and 4pm, ahead of the meeting with Liverpool, this special occasion will draw upon the Chelsea Museum’s extensive archive to create a colourful room-wide display and supporters are invited to drop in, wearing their own classic shirt favourites if they wish.

Match footage and goals featuring distinctive kits will feature on screen, as will a special history presentation and clips of memorable encounters against Liverpool. Former players will drop by throughout the event as well.

The Tea Bar is at the south end of the stadium, between Frankie’s and the ticket office and opposite the Shed Wall. The event is free and open to home supporters. Refreshments will be on sale.
