Cole Palmer is among the players named on the shortlist for the 2024/25 Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
The England international is in the running to claim the Premier League honour for the second year running, having previously received the 2023/24 Young Player of the Season award.
It has been another strong campaign by Palmer for Chelsea, following his 2023 move from Manchester City to Stamford Bridge. With two Premier League games still to play this season, starting against Manchester United tomorrow evening, Cole is the Blues’ top scorer with 15 goals in the competition so far.
The 23-year-old has eight Premier League assists to his name in 2024/25, giving him a combined goals and assists tally of 23, a number only bettered by four players in this season’s competition. He is also second in the league for chances created (85) and earlier this season became the first person ever to score four times in the first half of a Premier League game, when we beat Brighton 4-2.
Palmer is one of eight names on the shortlist for the 2024/25 Premier League Young Player of the Season, alongside: Liam Delap (Ipswich Town), Anthony Elanga (Nottingham Forest), Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool), Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth), Joao Pedro (Brighton & Hove Albion), Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), and William Saliba (Arsenal).
You can cast your vote for Cole to claim the award here until midday on Monday 19 May, with the winner to be announced on Saturday 24 May.
