Liam Rosenior has made four changes to his starting XI for Chelsea’s big Premier League fixture away against Aston Villa tonight.

The Blues take on fellow top-four hopefuls at Villa Park, with kick-off at 7.30pm, representing an opportunity to bounce straight back from the weekend’s loss to Arsenal and cut the six-point gap to this evening’s opponents in the race for UEFA Champions League qualification.

The most notable of the changes comes between the posts, as Filip Jorgensen comes in for Robert Sanchez, who is among the substitutes. It is Jorgensen's first appearance since the UEFA Champions League meeting with Pafos in January.

Ahead of our goalkeeper, Wesley Fofana returns in place of Mamadou Sarr, while Malo Gusto looks set to line up on the right, with Trevoh Chalobah and Jorrel Hato completing the back four.

Captain Reece James is expected to shift to midfield, alongside Moises Caicedo, with Andrey Santos dropping to the bench. Enzo Fernandez continues ahead of them.

Alejandro Garnacho gets the nod to replace Pedro Neto, who is serving a one-game suspension tonight. Cole Palmer is on the opposite flank, with Joao Pedro leading our attack once again. Marc Cucurella returns among the substitutes, having missed our last four games due to injury.

Aston Villa make three changes from the team which lost 2-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out. Two of them come in defence, where Tyrone Mings and Chelsea Academy graduate Ian Maatsen are introduced, while winger Leon Bailey also comes into the side. Former Blues Ross Barkley, Jadon Sancho and Tammy Abraham are all on the Villa bench.
