Mauricio Pochettino has made five changes to his Chelsea side for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Blues are looking to make it three unbeaten matches on the road in the Premier League – and secure an important victory that will move us up in the top-flight table.

After a midweek, morale-boosting win over Leeds United in the FA Cup fifth round, Pochettino has decided to freshen up his side for the short trip to our west London neighbours.

Djordje Petrovic returns in goal having been rested on Wednesday night and he looks set to be protected by a back four of Malo Gusto, Axel Disasi, Trevoh Chalobah, and Levi Colwill.

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are deployed in midfield and will be supported by Conor Gallagher, who is back in the starting XI after his late winner off the bench in midweek.

Cole Palmer and Ben Chilwell have also been restored to the side, with the latter captaining the Blues once again.

In the absence of Christopher Nkunku due to injury, Nicolas Jackson spearheads the attack and will be looking to build on his goal against Leeds last time out.

There are returns to the squad for Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella, with both having recovered from their respective injuries.

Chelsea: Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Chalobah, Colwill; Caicedo, Enzo; Palmer, Gallagher, Chilwell; Jackson

Chelsea substitutes: Sanchez, Silva, Cucurella, Gilchrist, Casadei, Tauriainen, Mudryk, Sterling, Madueke
