Xabi Alonso has made five changes to his Chelsea team for today’s fixture away to Brentford, with a quartet of Blues handed their full Premier League debut.
Pep Chavarria, Valentin Barco, Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck are included in Alonso’s starting XI. Reece James and Joao Pedro are unavailable, while Malo Gusto, Jorrel Hato and Romeo Lavia drop to the bench.
The other new face in the side from last weekend’s draw with Hull City is Maxence Lacroix, while Henderson's selection means he makes his Blues debut against the club he represented last season.
The bench includes 16-year-old Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli for the first time in a competitive game.
