Xabi Alonso has made one change to his Chelsea starting XI for our Premier League fixture away to Everton.
Jorrel Hato comes in on the left of defence with Pep Chavarria not in today’s matchday squad after picking up a knock in training on Friday.
Other than that, Alonso keeps faith with the side that defeated Bournemouth 5-1 last weekend. Jordan Henderson, who scored twice in that game, partners Moises Caicedo in central midfield once more. Caicedo is wearing the captain’s armband today.
Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro will look to continue their fine form, with the Brazilian starting his 50th game for the Blues, who will be wearing our third kit for the first time.
The bench includes 16-year-old Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli, who made his Chelsea debut in our last away game at Brentford.
Former Blue Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall starts for our hosts, while Tyrique George is named among the substitutes.
