Enzo Maresca has made one change to his team to face Everon as Romeo Lavia returns to the starting XI.
Lavia comes in for Reece James and is expected to line up in midfield alongside Enzo Fernandez, who captains the side in James’ absence, the Belgian international making his first appearance since the trip to Arsenal, and first start since January.
That means Moises Caicedo could take up position on the right side of our defence, with Marc Cucurella continuing on the left, as do centre-backs Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill ahead of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
The rest of the side is unchanged from last week’s dramatic win at Fulham, with the trio of Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto and Cole Palmer supporting striker Nicolas Jackson.
Chelsea: Sanchez, Caicedo, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella, Fernandez (c), Lavia, Madueke, Palmer, Neto, Jackson
Substitutes: Jorgensen, Acheampong, Badiashile, Tosin, James, Dewsbury-Hall, George, Sancho, Nkunku
