Xabi Alonso has named his first Premier League starting XI as Chelsea manager, with summer signings Maxence Lacroix and Morgan Rogers included in the side to take on west London neighbours Fulham.

The Blues have made the short journey from Stamford Bridge to begin our top-flight campaign, with Alonso overseeing his first competitive game since taking charge this summer.

Robert Sanchez starts in goal for the Blues and is expected to be protected by a back three consisting of Josh Acheampong, Maxence Lacroix and Levi Colwill.

Malo Gusto and Jorrel Hato are also included in the side, while captain Reece James and Romeo Lavia are set to occupy midfield roles.

Morgan Rogers makes his competitive debut for the Blues in an attack that also includes Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro.
