Mia Fishel has been named in a Chelsea match-day squad for the first time since February 2024 as Sonia Bompastor makes six changes to tonight's starting XI to face Leicester City at Kingsmeadow.

The American forward takes her place on the bench for the first time in over a year after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, while Nathalie Bjorn, Niamh Charles, Oriane Jean-Francois, Maika Hamano, Catarina Macario and Mayra Ramirez have all been introduced to the starting XI.

Hannah Hampton retains her place in goal and will be protected by a defence of Lucy Bronze, captain Millie Bright, Bjorn and Charles.

Making her first Women's Super League start of the season, Jean-Francois will line up in midfield. It is expected Hamano, Macario, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd and Aggie Beever-Jones will take up an advanced position with Ramirez leading the line.

Chelsea XI: Hampton; Bronze, Bright, Bjorn, Charles; Jean-Francois; Hamano, Macario, Beever-Jones, Rytting Kaneryd; Ramirez

Chelsea substitutes: Spencer, Lawrence, Nusken, Kaptein, Cuthbert, Brown, Baltimore, James, Fishel
