Chelsea interim head coach Calum McFarlane has made two changes to the Chelsea side for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

Having sealed a place in the FA Cup final last weekend, our focus on this bank holiday Monday switches back to top-flight duties as we welcome Forest, currently 16th in the table and three points above the relegation zone, to Stamford Bridge.

And McFarlane, who leads the Blues at Stamford Bridge for the first time, has made xx alterations to the side that started our victory over Leeds United last week.

Robert Sanchez continues in goal and will be protected by a back four of Malo Gusto, Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Cucurella.

Moises Caicedo continues in midfield and will be partnered by Romeo Lavia. Cole Palmer returns to the Chelsea attack and will be deployed alongside Enzo Fernandez and Jesse Derry, who makes his first start for the Blues. Joao Pedro will lead the frontline.

There is a significant return to the match-day squad for Levi Colwill, who hasn't yet featured this season due to injury. Reece James is also named among the substitutes after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Chelsea: Sanchez; Gusto, Chalobah, Tosin, Cucurella; Caicedo, Lavia; Palmer, Fernandez, Derry; Joao Pedro

Chelsea substitutes: Jorgensen, James, Acheampong, Fofana, Colwill, Hato, Andrey Santos, Essugo, Delap
