Sonia Bompastor has made three changes to her Chelsea starting XI for our WSL clash against Birmingham City at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

We take on Amy Merricks' side following our resounding 5-0 victory away at Manchester United last weekend, and we go in search of another three points in the Women's Super League this lunchtime.

Veerle Buurman comes into the defence in place of Katie McCabe, and Sandy Baltimore replaces Lauren James as Bompastor rotates her side with a packed schedule in mind.

Chelsea Academy graduate Lexi Potter retains her place in the starting XI after drawing praise from Bompastor after her performance against Manchester United.

As confirmed in Bompastor's pre-match press conference, trio Nathalie Bjorn, Naomi Girma and Melvine Malard have returned to fitness and are all named on today's bench.

Chelsea: Hampton, Carpenter, Buurman, Buchanan, Bronze (c), Nusken, Potter, Kaptein, Walsh, Baltimore, Thompson

Chelsea substitutes: Peng, Rudz, McCabe, Dragoni, Bjorn, Girma, Malard, Las, Hamano
