Ellie Carpenter's excellent strike against Barcelona in the Champions League has been voted the Constant Contact Chelsea Women's Goal of the Month for November.
Carpenter, who joined the Blues in the summer from OL Lyonnes, lashed home a thumping effort early into our clash with the Catalans at Stamford Bridge.
Aggie Beever-Jones played a neat pass into Carpenter just over the halfway line, and the Australian powered her way down the right flank. While most inside the stadium expected a cross, the Blues wing-back instead unleashed an unstoppable effort from the corner of the penalty area.
That finish was the clear winner of our Constant Contact Women’s Goal of the Month poll on the Chelsea Official App, claiming 51 per cent of the voting.
Alyssa Thompson's brilliant strike away at Arsenal was voted second with 20 per cent of the total share, while Sam Kerr's looping finish at home to London City Lionesses finished third with 10 per cent of the votes.

Congratulations, Ellie!
