Our latest Play Predictor guest, former Chelsea defender and Matchday Live pundit Jason Cundy, is backing Timo Werner to give us another victory at Turf Moor.
This season Blues fans can compete with our guests and each other while testing their knowledge in our Play Predictor game on The 5th Stand app. The game is available to play for every Chelsea fixture, including domestic and European cup matches, and there’s the chance to win incredible prizes throughout the season.
Today’s guest predictor is ex-Chelsea defender Jason Cundy, who grew up as a Blues fan before living the dream of coming through our youth set-up to represent the first team, making 57 appearances and scoring two goals during his three seasons in the senior side.
Now a pundit on Matchday Live, he is predicting that Chelsea will follow up our 4-0 victory over Krasnodar with another win over Burnley in the Premier League. That would secure our first back-to-back wins of the season, and furthermore he also predicts a fourth consecutive clean sheet for the Blues.
However, Frank Lampard has already spoken of his expectation of a difficult game against a well-organised Burnley side, despite our 100 per cent record against the Clarets last season, and Cundy seems to agree with that assessment. He has gone for a narrow 1-0 victory with the solitary goal coming deep into the second half from German striker Timo Werner.
