As we all get used to spending more time indoors during this unusual period, we will soon be launching a video series for children and adults alike to keep fit and active while at home.
Presented by Chelsea Women legend Katie Chapman alongside members of the current Chelsea Women team, each video sees one of the squad demonstrate a different exercise in an easy-to-follow session filmed at our Cobham training ground.
Billed as the Chelsea Challenge programme, you can join in alongside other members of your household for fun or even go head-to-head with friends to add a bit of competition to proceedings.
The video series will run alongside the Chelsea Foundation’s Extra Time programme, which was launched earlier this week. Extra Time is an online learning resource that features a range of education activities focusing on fitness, literacy, maths and creativity. New workbooks are uploaded to this website each day.
Chelsea Challenge has previously been shared with our school network and will now launch more widely this Monday 30 March. It will run for two weeks, with a new video published across our club platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and the 5th Stand app at 7am UK time each weekday.
