Satpayev has signed a contract with the Blues until 2033 and will spend the 2026/27 campaign at Turf Moor, having been part of Chelsea's travelling squad for our summer tour of Australia and Asia. He featured in four of our fixtures during the trip and scored in our victory over Western Sydney Wanderers.

Capable of playing across the attack, Satpayev spent his formative years with Kairat and was handed his first-team debut aged 15 in May 2024.

He went on to make 58 first-team appearances for the club, including outings in the UEFA Champions League, and struck 26 goals.

Satpayev’s performances for Kairat earned him senior international recognition in March 2025. He became Kazakhstan’s youngest ever debutant (16 years, seven months and ten days) and has gone on to make eight appearances for his country so far.

His first goal for Kazakhstan was struck in November 2025 in a 1-1 draw against Belgium, making him the youngest player (17 years, three months and three days) to find the net for his country.
