The details for the 2025/26 Women’s League Cup have today been confirmed, as we look to retain the trophy won last season as part of our domestic Treble.

A 2-1 win over Manchester City saw us lift our first trophy of the Sonia Bompastor era at Pride Park back in March.

The fifteenth season of the competition will see 21 teams from across the Women’s Super League and Women’s Super League Two enter at the group stage, which is split into a northern and southern section.

Chelsea will enter the competition at the quarter-final stage due to our involvement in the Women’s Champions League, along with Arsenal.

The quarter-finals will be played across the weekend of December 20 and 21, and the semi-finals are scheduled for January 21 and 22, 2026.

The final itself will take place on the weekend of March 15 and 16, 2026 at a venue yet to be confirmed.
