A young Chelsea supporter cherished a once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to a matchday wish organised by the Chelsea Foundation, following a referral from Make-a-Wish.
David Sutton and his brothers Sam and Matthew, along with his mum Carol, were filled with excitement when they visited Stamford Bridge for the first time.
David enjoyed a pre-match experience, including the player arrival experience, and received a warm welcome from the mascots and head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
The family were then granted access to the press room before heading pitchside to watch the team's warm-up.
As they watched the team prepare for the match, David was surprised by Trevoh Chalobah (pictured top) and Marcus Bettinelli (below) who both signed his shirt and took pictures with him and his family.
Carol said: ‘David enjoyed meeting the players which was most definitely the best experience ever. The player arrival was also great, watching them come off the bus, and then to be pitchside was awesome and a big highlight.
‘From the family we really enjoyed the whole experience, we had the best treatment and it was fantastic for us all. We want to thank Chelsea Foundation very much for this experience!’
