Signing for the Blues in January 2024, Richards scored seven goals in 10 games for our Under-21s during the second half of that season.

Having been sidelined due to injury during the following campaign, the Jamaica international returned to action with our Under-21s and spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City in the Championship.
