Chelsea Under-21s defender Harrison Murray-Campbell and winger Ryan Kavuma-McQueen have both been named on the shortlist for March’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
It has been an impressive season for Chelsea Under-21s, who finished top of the table in the regular campaign, recording a strong tally of 14 victories alongside one draw and just five defeats, as we now move into the knockout stages of the Premier League 2 for the title play-offs.
The 2025/26 campaign has been particularly encouraging for Murray-Campbell. The 19-year-old defender has made 18 league appearances so far this season, contributing an impressive six goals, including one in March.
He featured in all four Premier League 2 matches during the month, as the Blues maintained a perfect record, winning each game. Murray-Campbell was also on the score sheet in the emphatic 4-0 home victory over Sunderland.
Chelsea have a second nominee in Kavuma-McQueen, with the winger earning recognition for his stand-out performances. The 17-year-old has made 13 appearances in the competition this season, scoring five goals.
March proved to be a particularly productive month for Kavuma-McQueen. He played in all four league fixtures and found the net four times, including a brace in the 4-1 win over Birmingham City. He also scored in the 4-0 victories against Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers, underlining his attacking impact.
The strong performances of both Murray-Campbell and Kavuma-McQueen have secured their places on the shortlist for March’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award, alongside Kieran Morrison (Liverpool), Nehemiah Oriola (Brighton & Hove Albion), Victor Musa (Manchester United), Charlie Dinsdale (Sunderland), Jack Daley and Frankie Coulson (both Middlesbrough).
