Edouard Mendy has taken a positive step towards his recovery after taking part in full team training at Cobham on Tuesday morning.
The goalkeeper has not featured for the Blues since before the 2022 World Cup after undergoing surgery on a fractured finger in early January.
The goalkeeper has been back building up his own return on the grass for a fortnight now but it was not until today that he got back between the posts with the team.
His last game was in our final match before the winter break, on 12 November.
