Three years to the day that he became a Chelsea player, Enzo Fernandez marked his 150th appearance by scoring the winner for the Blues in a dramatic 3-2 victory over West Ham United.

The Argentine international swept home in the 92nd minute at Stamford Bridge to seal a memorable win over our London rivals. It was a fitting way to mark a landmark appearance.

Fernandez joined Chelsea from Portuguese club Benfica on the final day of the 2023 January transfer window. He arrived as a World Cup winner and showcased his undeniable quality across 22 appearances in the remainder of that season.

It was early into his first full campaign as a Chelsea player that Fernandez opened his account. He netted in a League Cup victory over AFC Wimbledon and added six more goals across all competitions, including a brace at home against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Silverware was lifted the following season. Fernandez was an integral figure for the Blues, often captaining the side, as we clinched a top-four finish in the Premier League and claimed UEFA Conference League trophy.

The 25-year-old started the final wearing the captain's armband and scored in our 4-1 win over Real Betis in Wroclaw.

More was to come, though. Last summer, Fernandez was a constant presence in the Chelsea side as we progressed through the Club World Cup to reach the final. He started the final against Paris Saint-Germain, which the Blues won 3-0 to become world champions.

Our victory saw Fernandez become the first player to lift the World Cup and the Club World Cup, following the latter's expanded format.

Fernandez has remained a hugely important figure for Chelsea this season, featuring in 35 of our 37 matches in all competitions.

He has struck eleven goals, the latest of which was his winner against West Ham. Congratulations on reaching 150 appearances, Enzo!
