Chelsea’s Erin Cuthbert has made the shortlist for the 2024/25 PFA Women’s Players' Player of the Year award after another fantastic season for the Blues.

The 26-year-old was a key member of the history-making Chelsea team which went the entire domestic season unbeaten, lifting the WSL, Women’s FA Cup and Women’s League Cup trophies in the process.

Our Scottish midfielder was included on the six-player shortlist voted for by their colleagues in the Professional Footballers’ Association after a season where she scored eight goals in 34 appearances across all competitions.

Cuthbert faces competition for the award from Alessia Russo, Mariona Caldentey (both Arsenal), Mary Fowler, Yui Hasegawa (both Manchester City) and Phallon Tullis-Joyce (Manchester United).

The winner will be announced when the PFA gathers for their 52nd annual awards ceremony at Manchester Opera House on Tuesday 19 August.
