This weekend’s trip to Merseyside will be Chelsea’s first match outside London in any competition this season, and here are all the facts and figures you need ahead of kick-off against Everton.
It is our seventh game in the Premier League and we go into it in sixth place in the table, level on points with fourth-place Brentford and eight points behind leaders Manchester City. Everton are in fifth, with the same 10-point total as Chelsea, having recorded two wins and four draws so far.
Head-to-head
Chelsea are aiming to prevent Everton recording consecutive Premier League wins over us for the first time since 2019.
The Toffees have won six of their past nine home Premier League matches against Chelsea (two draws, one defeat). We have not scored in seven of those games, including the last three.
Chelsea have scored 305 goals against the Toffees in all competitions, 21 more than we have managed against any other side (next is Tottenham Hotspur, with 284).
We lost 3-0 at Everton in the corresponding fixture in March, our first visit to their new Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Chelsea stats
Chelsea are looking for back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time since the first two games of the season, against Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Chelsea have scored a league-high six goals in the opening seven minutes this season, three of them through Morgan Rogers. We have also scored two Premier League goals inside the first four minutes of the second half.
With just two minutes 29 seconds played when Rogers added to Jordan Henderson's opening goal against Bournemouth last week, it was the earliest that Chelsea have ever been 2-0 up in a Premier League match.
Our 23 goals in eight league and cup games this season are our most at this stage since scoring 29 under Carlo Ancelotti in 2010/11.
No Premier League team’s matches have produced more goals after six matchweeks than Chelsea’s 28, comprising 15 scored and 13 conceded.
The Blues have conceded in each of our past 22 Premier League matches, our longest league run without a clean sheet since our club record 31-game sequence in the old First Division between November 1960 and August 1961. Our last clean sheet in the league was against Brentford at Stamford Bridge on 17 January. Our last shut-out on the road in the competition was at Bournemouth on 6 December last year.
Henderson is the 26th player to score on his Premier League home debut for Chelsea, but only the third to score twice, after Mario Stanic against West Ham United in August 2000 and Gonzalo Higuain against Huddersfield Town in February 2019.
Henderson is the 21st Chelsea player to score from a direct free-kick in a Premier League game and first since Enzo Fernandez against Liverpool at Anfield in May.
Since the start of May, no Premier League player has been involved in more goals in all competitions than Rogers (six goals, seven assists).
Henderson’s brace against Bournemouth brought our tally of goals from outside the box this season to five, one short of last season’s total.
Joao Pedro has more goal involvements than any other player in the Premier League this season (eight). He has scored with five of his 13 shots in the Premier League so far in 2006/27 (38.5 per cent), the best shot-conversion rate of any player with at least five shots taken.

Everton, Manchester City and Brentford are the only sides yet to lose in the Premier League this season. The Toffees are unbeaten in their past six Premier League games (two wins, four draws). Their most recent longer run was nine matches from January to March 2025.
Their three league matches at the Hill Dickinson Stadium have yielded wins against Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace, plus a draw with Manchester United.
Everton have kept five clean sheets in their eight games this season in all competitions.
The Toffees have committed the fewest fouls in the league this season (44), with Chelsea second on 50.
Everton are winless in their past ten Saturday lunch-time Premier League matches (four draws, six defeats), while Chelsea are unbeaten in their past ten in the same slot (eight wins, two draws).
Thierno Barry is joint-highest (with Erling Haaland) for shots in the Premier League this season, with 22.
James Tarkowski leads the Premier League for duel success rate this season with an 82.5 per cent figure, while only Brentford’s Vitaly Janelt (20) has made more interceptions than his 16.
Last month, Jordan Pickford became the 19th goalkeeper to keep 100 or more clean sheets in the Premier League. Petr Cech, with 202, is the leader in the league's shut-outs by a considerable margin, recording 33 more than his closest rival David James.
