The Blues have been handed a home draw against the Shrimps, with the game scheduled to take place over the weekend of January 11.

The fixture represents a repeat of the 2021 meeting at this stage of the competition, with the Blues running out 4-0 winners that day in freezing conditions. Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz the men on target for Frank Lampard's Chelsea that day.

We last lifted the famous trophy back in 2018, with Antonio Conte's Blues defeating Manchester United 1-0 at Wembley courtesy of a penalty from Eden Hazard.
