Chelsea have been drawn to play away against Middlesbrough in the quarter-finals of this season’s Emirates FA Cup.

The match will be played between Friday 18 March and Monday 21 March with the exact date and ticket details to be announced later.The Blues reached this stage of the competition for the sixth time in seven seasons by beating Luton away yesterday. Middlesbrough were the conquerors of Tottenham at the Riverside, winning 1-0. They are currently eighth in the Championship table.

Chelsea famously beat 'Boro in the 1997 FA Cup final to bring to an end a wait of 27 years to lift the trophy for a second time. More recently than that we won 2-0 in the competition at the Riverside in 2013 and 1-0 at home 10 years earlier.
