Chelsea’s Under-18s will begin the 2019/20 FA Youth Cup with a home tie against Huddersfield Town.

Ed Brand’s team enter the competition at the third round stage, for which the draw was made today (Friday). The tie is due to be played by 14 December at either Aldershot Town or Kingsmeadow.

Chelsea fell at the first hurdle in last season's Youth Cup after Manchester United inflicted our first defeat in the competition in over five years, while our opponents Huddersfield were also eliminated from the competition in the third round after they fell to defeat against Peterborough United at the John Smith’s Stadium.

We last met back in 2015/16 in this competition and the Blues ran out 6-1 winners thanks to a Tammy Abraham hat-trick, late strikes from Ike Ugbo and Dujon Sterling and an own goal.

Fixture details and ticket information will follow in due course.
