The date and ticket selling details have been announced for Chelsea Under-18s' big cup-tie at Kingsmeadow.
The Blues, the nine-time winners of the FA Youth Cup, take on Manchester City, who most recently lifted the trophy in 2024, in fifth round on Monday 9 February with kick-off at 7pm.
We have enjoyed a strong start to our FA Youth Cup campaign, which began in the third round with an exciting west London derby victory over Brentford. Goals from Kobe Barbour and Chizaram Ezenwata secured a 2-1 win and progression into the next stage of the competition.
Chelsea followed that up with a hard-fought away victory in the fourth round, defeating Reading 3-2 at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. A brace from Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, combined with a Reggie Watson free-kick, ensured our place in the fifth round.
Next up in the prestigious Academy competition, we will face Manchester City, who reached this stage after victories over Fulham and, more recently, Arsenal in the previous rounds.
