Now a regular fixture in the Stamford Bridge calendar, at the end of March the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust, with Chelsea Football Club’s assistance, will be staging another open-air fundraising night for local charities.
This year’s Big Stamford Bridge Sleep Out takes place on Saturday 28 March, during the international break in fixtures for our men’s team, and Blues fans can sign up to take part.
If you do, you will join fellow supporters in bedding down for the night under the East Stand to raise money to support The Stoll Foundation and Barons Court Project. All funds raised will be evenly shared between these two great charities to enable vital work to end homelessness and support vulnerable and disabled veterans to lead fulfilling, independent lives.
Places are limited to a maximum of 200 people so they must be reserved in advance. To qualify, all participants need is:
to be at least 18 years of age
to pledge to raise at least £50 in sponsorship

This will be the seventh year of the Big Sleep Out, which even continued in a virtual form during the pandemic, and the aim is to surpass the figure of over £30,000 raised by Chelsea supporters and staff last year.
Mark Meehan, from the Supporters’ Trust, said: ‘With rough sleeping figures in London showing a 10 per cent increase in the last year, the challenge of tackling rough sleeping remains and every penny raised by the Stamford Bridge Sleep Out makes a difference.
‘At Barons Court project, £5 can pay for a meal and a hot shower and larger donations can help homeless people towards training and employment. At Stoll, £10 can provide an hour of essential one-to-one support for a vulnerable veteran and larger donations can fund activity to boost the mental and physical health of a group of veterans, or buy a recycled laptop or tablet and IT skills training which will help to increase their independence.’
