The results are in and our latest Play Predictor winner has been crowned, with plenty of fans racking up the points for backing Tammy Abraham against Barnsley.

A total of 66,332 supporters took part in the first midweek round of the Play Predictor game, which allows fans to compete against each other for every Chelsea game in all competitions this season by trying to accurately predict a number of match events.

Wednesday night’s match certainly rewarded those who were confident of a big performance from the Blues, but it seemed not everyone expected quite such a one-sided victory at Stamford Bridge, with just 1,802 people getting the 6-0 score line right.

However, it was Abraham who allowed people to make up the points, with an impressive 16,687 getting the full 20 points for correctly predicting the striker would get our first goal, while a further 5,528 got five points because their picks, Ross Barkley and Kai Havertz, netted later in the game. Top marks for originality, but unfortunately no points, to the four fans who claimed that goalkeeper Willy Caballero would open the scoring!

Congratulations to our third winner of the season Thierry, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, who amassed a score of 85 to take the victory by just a single point. He will receive the match-by-match prize of a £100 Megastore voucher and signed Chelsea shirt.

‘I am a winner with Chelsea! I will give my all to win the ultimate prize,’ said Thierry, setting his sights firmly on the overall prize of a VIP matchday experience including flights and accommodation for two people, up for grabs for the person who tops the leaderboard at the end of the season.

Play Predictor is now open on The 5th Stand app for Chelsea’s next fixture, away at West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday, so get your predictions in to follow Thierry and become the next fan to claim a prize and be in the running to win that VIP matchday experience.
