Cole Palmer has been shortlisted for The Best FIFA Men's Player 2025, while four players from our Treble-winning Women's side have been nominated for the Best FIFA Women’s Player 2025.

Palmer's second season at Stamford Bridge proved as captivating as his first. He produced several outstanding performances, such as his four-goal display against Brighton and Hove Albion, and helped the Blues lift two trophies.

In the UEFA Conference League final, the England international created two goals to help us overturn a deficit and run out 4-1 winners.

Less than two months later, in the Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain, Palmer was instrumental in the Blues being crowned world champions. He scored twice against the Ligue 1 giants and fashioned a goal for Joao Pedro to ensure we lifted the trophy in New York.

There is deserved recognition of our Women's team success during the 2024/25 campaign, with Sandy Baltimore, Nathalie Bjorn, Lucy Bronze and Lauren James all shortlisted for the Best FIFA Women’s Player 2025.

Baltimore is nominated after an impressive first campaign at Chelsea. She featured regularly, as a full-back or winger, as we went unbeaten to claim the Women's Super League title and also lift the Women's League Cup.

The France international was also pivotal to the Blues claiming the Women's FA Cup, scoring twice and assisting a goal for Catarina Macario in the final to help us defeat Manchester United at Wembley.

Bjorn was another key figure in those successes, as she cemented herself as a regular in the heart of the Chelsea backline.

The 28-year-old's defensive qualities were key to our unbeaten title triumph, and Bjorn's performances saw her named Players’ Player of the Year at our End of Season Awards.

She then went on to help Sweden top a group that contained Germany at this summer's UEFA Women’s EURO

Bronze is already one of the women's game's most decorated players, and the England international is nominated after her first Chelsea campaign resulted in more silverware.

The 34-year-old made 31 appearances in all competitions for the Blues, with her experience shining through as we overcame every domestic challenger during the 2024/25 season.

She then joined up with England for this summer's Women's European Championship and was a key figure as the Lionesses retained their title in Switzerland.

James also played an important role in England's triumph, scoring twice in this summer's tournament and often pushing through the pain barrier to ensure the Lionesses retained their crown.

She also contributed to the Blues' Treble success, with goals struck in the Women's Super League and Women's FA Cup. She also started in our League Cup final win over Manchester City.
