Jess Carter, Niamh Charles, Hannah Hampton, Fran Kirby and Lauren James have all been included in the England Women squad which will take on Sweden and the Republic of Ireland in April.

The Lionesses begin their qualifying campaign for the 2025 European Championship by hosting Sweden at Wembley on Friday 5 April, before travelling away to the Republic of Ireland four days later.

The five Blues included in the squad by manager Sarina Wiegman will meet up with their international team-mates on Monday, by which time they will hope to be Champions League semi-finalists and Continental Tyres League Cup winners, at the conclusion of another busy week for Chelsea.
